History of the formation of the company

The business was registered initially in July 1978 as an equal partnership between Kramer Consultants Ltd, a Papua New Guinea firm, and Cameron McNamara Pty Ltd of Australia.

The firm was incorporated in 1983 and in 1990 it changed its name from Cameron McNamara Kramer Pty Ltd to Kinhill Kramer Pty Ltd following a merger between Kinhill and Cameron McNamara. In July 1997 Kinhill Ltd was acquired by US interests.

Kramer Consultants Ltd bought out the Kinhill equity in late 1998 and operated as Kramer Group from 1st January 1999.
