Kramer (SI) Group Supports Charity Golf Event

The Australian Defence Cooperation in Honiara held an Ambrose Golf Competition on the 23rd of November 07 to raise funds to assist youth representatives in the country, who will be attending the World Youth Conference event in Sydney Australia in 2008. The event is expected to attract young people from over 150 countries. More.

Solomons staff volunteering to help school

Kramer Solomon Islands staff volunteered at the annual school bazaar of Saint Joseph’s (Tenaru) Secondary school by selling raffle tickets and serving the traditional drink Kava at the Kava and Coconut stall. A coconut shell of Kava cost SBD$2.00 and they raised SBD$3,000.00 (including SBD$800.00 worth of raffle tickets bought by KSOL staff) Saint Joseph’s (Tenaru) Secondary school is a Catholic mission school which boasts many prominent members of the community both in the government and private sectors as former pupils many of whom Kramer (SI) deal with regularly. Kramer (SI) is happy to have had the opportunity to help the community of Saint Joseph’s school.

Samoa Tennis Star Juan Langton is relishing the financial assistance and sponsorship of Australian company Kramer Group, Porjects Managers, Engineers and Designers.
Thanks to a family connection, and through word of mouth, the Kramer Group has stepped in to assist Juan meet his travel costs to attend various tennis meets.
Previously, Juan has been very reliant on the immense support of his family, and has had to reach deep into his own pockets to fund trips abroad.
But with the sponsorship provided by Kramer Group, Juan can now concentrate more on his tennis.
Jason Goddard, manager of Kramer Group in Samoa, told Observer Sports Kramer Group was very pleased to offer Juan their support and assistance and to help meet his travel costs and expenses.
Mr Goddard said it was a gesture of goodwill on their part in assistng Juan in his pursuit of tennis and a very important part of his development as an athlete.
Juan is a member of the Pacific Island Davis Cup Tennis that will compete against Pakistan at the newly refurbished tennis courts at Apia Park.
Other members of the Davis Cup team also include Brett Baudinet (Cook Islands), Jeff Race (Northern Mariana Islands) who will captain the side, Michael Leong (Solomon Islands), West Nott (Marshall Island) and Leon So'onalole (Samoa).
